Sunday lunch at Vivo City ♥

Decided to head down to Vivo City because we got bored of always going to Orchard.. Haa..

We ended up at Food Republic for lunch that afternoon and decided to try out Xin Chen BKT. They’ve a section of seats / area allocated just for Xin Chen BKT customer, so it really save us the time / trouble looking for a seat in the food court :)

Typical me.. Combing my hair before taking pictures..

I think the food was okay only.. The soup was a little too peppery for our liking :|

We ordered a set meal (comes with BKT, salted vegetables, peanuts and either rice / mee sua), a kidney & liver soup, one additional rice + mee sua and a drink, and total amount to slightly more than S$20?

Photos of my colourful nails..

When we were done with our meals, we then went outside to take more pictures! The wind was too strong and kept messing up my hair though.

Was at KK Hospital on Friday morning to accompany my third sister for her surgery..

Daddy driving..

Her appointment was at 11:30am, and we reached just slightly before the scheduled timing..

The doctor told us that the whole operation will take around an hour, so after she went in for her surgery, the few of us decided to go grab our lunch from the food court.

Never expect nice food from the hospital..
I should be thankful that at least the food wasn't totally tasteless.

Then after our meals, bf and I decided to go get a big helium balloon for my sister! Something to cheer her up a little after her surgery :D And because she had already told me the design that she like the previous time when we came for her appointment, I already have in mind which design I’m getting.

Ya, the design she picked was the King Pig!

Glad that the surgery was successful and she was able to leave the hospital on the very same day.

She got one week of MC and hence won’t be going back to school this whole…

National Day 2012

Image
Spent half of my (National) day staying at home..

Came home late the night before because of the Maybelline Lashionista event, thus slept in till noon. Then headed out at around 5pm to meet bf for lunch / dinner, before meeting the rest at my grandma's place.

I really want to dress up in white and red for our country birthday.. But since I couldn’t find a suitable red dress in my wardrobe, I decided to go with white and throw on a red bracelet (I’ve really limited number of red pieces in my wardrobe and that’s the only red accessories that I own) Haa..

A small way of showing my ♥ and spirit for Singapore!

Headed over to Tiong Bahru Plaza, since it’s the nearest mall from my grandma's place..

Then after dinner and a little shopping (to get presents for my niece’s birthday) I decided to head over to my grandma's pla…

Maybelline Arresting Lash Revolution

Maybelline Arresting Lash Revolution
(aka the Lashionista Event)
@ Zouk
on 8th August, 12

I can't express how happy I was when I received the email from The Tinsel Rack a week or two ago, about winning the invites for the Maybelline new mascara launch event! This event was strictly by invites only (which means it’s not open to public), so I was really happy to have won the tickets by sending in the email (with the heading “I WANT TO SEE TTR!”).

And honestly, after sending in the email that morning, I kept checking my email account throughout the day waiting to see if I’m one of the lucky one who have gotten the tickets. Haa.. And when I finally did, I know I’ve to ask Sherlyn along, since she was the one who kindly offered me one of the Golden Ticket to the CKL event. But who knows, she ended up winning two pairs of tickets by herself.

As such, I ended up decided to bring bf along, since he had never been to Zouk before. Plus, I honestly can’t picture ourselves going to Zouk, ap…
