2014 Phuket - Day 2 (Jungceylon Shopping Mall / Phuket Trickeye Museum)

Moving on to day 2 in Phuket.. I woke up bright and early in the morning and this was the view I got when I stepped outside.

Thankful for the beautiful weather.

After having a dip in the pool, we decided to make use of the free shutter bus service provided by the hotel to get us to the main shopping area since taking a taxi could easily cost us S$30 (THB750). If I remembered correctly, the hotel offer two trips to Jungceylon Shopping Mall daily, and we decided to go with the earlier one that depart at 12 noon.

Over at Jungceylon Shopping Mall, you will find Robinson department store, Big C Supermarket, cinema, bowling alley, arcade, and various retail stores (clothes, sunglasses, mobile phone accessories, etc) and restaurant.

We didn't manage to get much from there, except from going in to Boots to get a number of Soap & Glory products. (Whenever I went into Boots in Thailand, Soap & Glory products are always on discount. Hence I usually make use of the opportunity to stoc…

2014 Phuket - Day 1 (U Zenmaya Phuket / Chaofa Variety Weekend Market)

Finally going to blog about the Phuket Trip that took place more than two months ago..

The trip actually took place the day after the Boyfriend's graduation and to be completely honest, it was a rather last minute trip. We only managed to settle our air tickets and accomodations right till the very last moment but fortunately, we were still able to get a rather good hotel at a very reasonable price.

Our flight was on Sunday afternoon at 12pm (Singapore time) and was scheduled to reach our destination at 2:50pm (Phuket time).

Scooting off with Tigerair.

I used to hate taking Tiger Airways because their standard seats don't usually come with much room space for your legs.. But I supposed I'm slowly getting use to it now.

Ever since the Boyfriend signed up for the Tigerair credit card from Standard Chartered, we get to enjoy free upgrade for our check-in luggage and priority boarding every single time when we travel with Tigerair so I guess that make it slightly better.
