A quick question here: How many of you actually do take the effort to look at the ingredients list stated on the packaging whenever you get something off the shelves?

Well, if you are the minority that take the extra few seconds to read up, then you probably will know that most of the time there tend to be some additional / unnecessary chemicals / ingredients added to the product. Ingredients that we can hardly pronounce and probably knows nothing about.

There is this quote that says "we are what we eat", and our diet plays a huge role in our overall wellbeing. But do you know that as much as our diet shape how we feel on the inside, what we use on the outside is also equally important?

In the recent years there seem to be a rising popularity in using products made of organic and natural ingredients. And well, I must admit that I've also jumped on the bandwagon and are in the lookout of products that are natural and gentler on my skin.

And here's the final instalment on my recent trip to Solo Surakarta, Indonesia.

Seeing that the sky was turning dark, we decided to head back to our room, freshen up and head downstairs to Épice restaurant for our dinner.

Deep Fried Mozzarella, 68 000 rph

Thai Chicken Salad, 78 000 rph

In total we ordered 2 drinks, 2 appetisers, 1 salad and 1 pasta to share.

It was around 7pm when we were done with dinner and considering that there isn't any programs planned for the night, we decided to head out of the hotel to the nearby mall. Really happy that the nearest mall, Solo Square is just 5 to 10 minutes walking distance away from the hotel.

It was around 3pm when we finally got back to the hotel. While I was tired from being out since morning, I decided to join the Boyfriend and the both of us started to wander around the hotel snapping lots of pictures along the way.

Do you know that Alila Hotel Solo is the highest building in Central Java? It has a total of 30 storeys.

Love the high ceiling and spacious lobby area..

And not forgetting the centrepiece of the entire lobby - the floating batik-inspired sculpture!

You can actually find various of these batik motifs throughout the hotel (i.e. corridors, hotel rooms, etc).

Épice - the hotel's main restaurant:

Moving on to the hotel room..

Our room had been nicely done up while we were away.

Honestly, nothing beats coming back to a big and comfy bed!
